hey guys so today I'm gonna share with
you a recipe that I've been making a lot
lately that I created and it's my
healthy banana peanut butter cup oatmeal
recipe so it's super simple what you
want to start with is oats doesn't
matter but usually quick is good some
salts a very ripe banana some powdered
peanut butter I like the chocolate kind
this has 85% less fat and calories but
if you don't like that you can always go
for the regular and called td2 also some
ground cinnamon and optionally some
honey or brown sugar so you want to
start off with a cup of water and you're
gonna add that to a small saucepan this
recipe will make enough for one person
so it's easy to multiply and then you
want to get that nice and hot boiling
then you want to add about 1/2 a cup of
oats
and you want to give that a good stir
now at this point you want to take your
salt get that ready take a pinch of that
throw that in there give it a good stir
then you want to reduce the heat so
you're not overcooking your oats then
you want to get your very ripe banana I
use 1/2 for one serving peel that and
just kind of crumble small pieces into
the steaming oatmeal your hands will get
really messy but once you've cleaned
them up you can give it a nice stir and
kind of mash it in there this adds
sweetness without adding calories or
sugar so this is great if you are
diabetic or on a diet and then I add my
pv2 I like to add one teaspoon but I'll
be honest I'd typically add two but this
adds a nice like peanut buttery
chocolate kind of flavor to the oatmeal
without adding a whole bunch of calories
and fat and things like that so it's
really really good healthy option for
flavoring your oatmeal then optionally
you can add some honey which is what I
like to do because I feel like it it
mixes in there better but you can also
use brown sugar
super super yummy but if you're on a
diet again or if you're diabetic
probably not a good idea but today since
I'm feeling indulgent I'm gonna go ahead
and add it see what I did there
so it gives that a good stir and then
you're gonna transfer that to your bowl
there's really no way to make this look
pretty y'all oatmeal just is not a
pretty dish but ultimately you get this
yummy cozy delicious little snack and
what I like to do to make it ultra
indulgent is just add some cinnamon on
top and I'm the world's worst cinnamon
pour so I had to put this on like super
fast speed because it took me forever
that's it that's really all there is to
this delicious dish it takes me about
maybe 10 minutes
the morning and I just make sure I have
really ripe bananas when I make this
recipe because it just is that much
sweeter if the bananas are ripe and the
sugar has had time to kind of mature if
you will it's so cozy so yummy and it's
a relatively you know pretty healthy
snack all things considered so I hope
you enjoy this video and I'll catch you
in my next one bye guys I guess it
smells like macaroons and vanilla and
butter and a little bit of cotton candy
and
