- If you're looking for ahealthy breakfast optionthat is great for busymornings, then overnight oatmealis definitely for you.What I love aboutovernight oatmeal is thatit all gets put together the night before,and come morning, it is readyto eat, either hot or cold.Now it's very nutritious,it's very delicious,and the greatest thing is,the flavor possibilitesare absolutely endless.A few months ago, I shared my very firstovernight oatmeal videowith five tasty flavors.And you guys have been askingfor new flavors ever since.So today I'm going toshow you five more flavorsI hope you will absolutely love.I'm going to show you my applewalnut overnight oatmeal,my pomegranate overnight oatmeal,a blackberry version, apeaches and cream version,and finally, a chocolateand cherry versionyou are absolutely going to love.So let's start with our basicovernight oatmeal recipe.In a glass jar or acontainer, you want to combinesome rolled oats with some almond milk.Now, I love almond milk inthis recipe, but you couldactually use any sortof milk that you like.We're going to top thatwith some chia seedsor some flax seeds.And then, a little bit of yogurt.If you are not intoyogurt and not into dairy,you could totally leave the yogurt outand just add a little more milk.That will work just as well.And that's it; that's yourbasic overnight oatmeal.To this, we can add allsorts of delicious flavors.Today, I'm going to be startingwith my apple walnut flavor.So I'm going to add alittle bit of brown sugarfor sweetness, somedried apples and raisins.I'm going to top that with some walnutsand a sprinkle of cinnamon.And that's it.Once all your ingredients are combined,you're going to put the lid on,give it a really good shake,and into the fridge it goes until morning.Come morning, you can either eat it coldstraight out of the fridge orheat it up in the microwave.Without the lid, of course.Next up is our pomegranate flavor.So, I'm starting with a littlebit of honey for sweetnessand some vanilla extract.To that, I am adding a wholelot of tasty pomegranate seedsand topping this withsome shredded coconut.For our blackberry flavor,we're going to combinea little bit of vanillaextract, some blackberry jam,and of course, some fresh blackberries.How much simpler could this be?Next up is peaches and cream.So to my mason jar, I'm going to adda drizzle of maple syrup,some freshly cut peach,and a splash of cream.I'm going to top this with alittle sprinkle of cinnamon,and this is ready to rock.Last but not least, I'm going to show youmy chocolate cherry overnight oatmeal.So to my jar, I'm goingto add a spoonful ofcherry preserves or cherry jam,then I'm going to add somefreshly chopped pitted cherries,and finally, I'm going to adda good helping of cocoa powderfor some chocolatey flavor.Once again, once your jarsare ready, all you need to dois give them a really good shake,into the fridge they go,and by morning, they are ready to eat.I hope you love all five of these flavorsas much as I do.And if you give them atry, be sure to tweet orInstagram me a photo, because you knowI love seeing what you're coming up within your very own kitchen.And for even more breakfastinspiration, be sure tocheck out my brand new "30Days of Smoothies" e-book.It's available for sale for $1.99,and it helps to support the channel.I've included a link belowwhere you can find it.And finally, if youhaven't already, be sure tosubscribe to The Domestic Geek,because there's lots more deliciousnesswhere this came from.(light guitar music)Stretch out for them! Shake thoroughly to combine. Refrigerate overnight. Eat cold from the fridge or heat in the microwave (without the lid). Enjoy!
